POW-MIAToday is National POW/MIA Recognition Day, which the United States observes on the third Friday of September each year.

Join us in honoring the sacrifices and service of those who were prisoners of war (POW), as well as those who are missing in action (MIA), and their families.

People across the country will be holding ceremonies to show support for these missing Americans, including a national ceremony held in Washington, D.C.

If you haven’t ever purchased a flag to show your support, we’re offering a 20% discount through September 20, 2015 on all POW/MIA flags so more people can join us in honoring these individuals. Simply enter the coupon code HONOR at checkout.

Do you already show your support by displaying a POW/MIA flag?

Help us make a flood of images on social media by posting any pic of your display of remembrance and tagging @astarsstripes and #PowMiaDay on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, or wherever you share your moments.

If you tag us in the post, we’ll give you a chance to win a FREE 3’x5’ POW/MIA flag so that you can share your message of remembrance to more folks or replace a flag that needs to be retired.

Please share this with your friends and family and help us raise our voices in support!
