Types of Custom Flags
Below are the different types of custom flags available from A Stars and Stripes Flag Corporation:
Flagpole Flags:
Custom flagpole flags can be made in sizes ranging from 12”x18” to 10’x15’. They can be digitally printed, silk-screened, or appliqued, and they can either be printed one-sided, with full penetration of the ink that allows the design to be seen in reverse on the other side of the flag, or two-sided, in which two flags are sewn together, with a liner in between, ensuring that no images or text is displayed in reverse.
Custom flagpole flags can be made for use outdoors or indoors. Outdoor flags are typically made with a heading and grommets and are designed to be flown horizontally on a vertical freestanding outdoor flag pole. Indoor flags are typically made with a pole hem, which can be located on either the top or side of the flag, allowing it to either be hung horizontally or vertically, displayed on an indoor mounting set or carried in a parade.

Boat flags can be single or double sided and finished with a heading and grommets or a pole hem. They are available in standard 10”x15”, 12”x18”, or 16”x24” sizes.
Garden Flags:
Custom garden flags are made to be displayed on a stake in a garden or front yard, and selling them is a great way to raise funds for your school or non-profit organization. They come in a standard 12”x18” size, with a sleeve across the top of the flag.
Miniature Flags:
Custom small nylon flags are mounted on a black staff with a gold spear, and they can include any custom design, printed with full penetration to the reverse side of the flag. They are available from A Stars and Stripes Flag Corporation in 4”x6”, 8”x12”, or 12”x18” sizes.
