December 7, 2016 is the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, during World War II. Each year, we honor those brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice and recognize those veterans who defended our Nation and advanced the cause of freedom during World War II.
At the direction of the President, the flag of the United States should be flown at half-staff to honor those who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor. Flags are to fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on December 7.
